Lunchtime retail therapy...I wanted to find an outfit or top for a few outtings this weekend, but ended up with rings from Topshop. Love that they all can be worn together but also bold enough to be worn separately. Yay me...xo, B

Had a little Mexi for dinner last night at Mercadito in the East Village...it was a small bday gathering for my older bro, the real shindig is next weekend. We ordered a bunch of stuff, but my hands down fave was the carne asada tacos. We started with the mahi mahi avocado ceviche, it was not that tasty which I was surprised by, because the website calls itself a cevicheria...hmm...but, it's pretty lol. Definitely stick to the basics here, they're worth it! I will for sure stop by this little joint again, and now know what to order. xo, B
Traditional guacamole, I don't like sweet takes on this dish...they had a couple fruity versions like mango, but that's a hellz no to that one.
Queso fundido with chorizo...bomb! The cheese was crisp and toasty on bottom which stuck to the plate...but the disappointment was finding out when the busboy took away the dish, that there were hidden tortillas to accompany it. Oops...but who doesn't like cheese all by itself.
Carnitas tacos...No way man! There were peanuts and cabbage on top...it was one hot mess...it was like having thai food on a tortilla. I overheard the cute little gay couple next to me raving about them, but they probs just weren't in the know, lol...but to each their own! haha
Chicken mole tacos...the texture of the chicken was good, crisp edges, and the mole was so so...after I dumped the hot sauce on it, the flavors were more appealing. Probably wouldn't do this one again, but would to the basic chicken tacos next time.
On my walk to work down Broadway this morning, I stumbled upon this line full of peeps in their skivvies outside Desigual. Apparently Desigual was having an undie party, and the first 100 peeps got to choose and outfit of their picking. Ummm...not sure that is worth it, but it definitely creates some hype. And if you missed it, there's still another opportunity next Tuesday! Just so you know...xo, B

Tuesday was the Showtime House event hosted by Time Out magazine which was at the Cassa hotel/residences. I went to this event last year at Tribeca House which I think was way cooler...but no matter what these events are all pretty sick. The detail and design that goes into creating each of these 3 penthouses based on the 7 different Showtime shows is awesome. My fave was definitely Dexter...super dark and cool furniture and artwork. These are just a bunch of snippets I took throughout my stroll through the rooms...there are more complete pics on Apartment Therapy. Fun times...xo, B

Omg...literally had chills down my spine watching the Burberry Spring 2011 runway video...just the whole feel of the music and vibes...I am totally obsessed. The pops of neon and animal prints against the traditional feel of Burberry is magical. And dude, studs and military are here to stay...a least for a little bit longer. Totes check out Burberry and watch the video...be prepared to be mesmerized...xo, B

After flipping through my Real Simple mag, I found a write up on multi purpose pieces...and this boot is rad. It's a two in one Fratelli Rossetti boot...how cool is it that the top shaft is detachable to be able to the tuck these short boots under pants, or give it a classy prep look with tights. Love these, but they do have a hefty price tag...xo, B
